RV Repair Services in Cumming, Georgia

RVs are almost just as complex as heavy-duty trucks, if not more. They have powerful diesel powertrains, complex drivetrains, and complicated air suspension setups. Just like semi-truck systems, these systems need maintenance and repair as well. Over time, components may wear down and need to be replaced. Preventive maintenance must be undergone. At Lanier Truck Repair, we offer oil and fluid services for RVs of all kinds. Whether you need a basic oil change or major engine repair, we’ve got you covered.

Common RV Repairs in our Cumming, GA Shop

Tire Patching

One of the most common causes of tire failure is an unexpected puncture. Fortunately, we here at Lanier Truck Repair offer tire patching services so you can repair your tire rather than replace it. This will save you a significant amount of money in the long run, for tire punctures are very common. Imagine how unfortunate it would be if you replaced the tire only for it to be punctured again. Our tire patches are high-quality and will last to the lifespan of your tire.

Diesel Engine Oil and Fluid Changes

Your heavy-duty diesel engines require both engine oil and coolant to function properly. The engine oil lubricates the engine’s inner components, and the coolant absorbs radiant heat. These two fluids allow for your engine’s operating temperature to be controlled. If either of these fluids breaks down, your engine will overheat and may become damaged. Common damage of prolonged overheating includes blown head gaskets and warped pistons. Engine oil should be replaced every 3 to 6 thousand miles, whereas engine coolant needs to be replaced every 30 to 60 thousand miles.
